IT'S THAT TIME AGAIN, THE EAST NEW YORK MEMORIAL CLASSIC BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT AT GERSH PARK IS AROUND THE CORNER....





The livest tournament in Brooklyn is tipping off Friday, June 21st, 2013 and if you're interested in putting a team in the tournament, payments begin March 15th, 2013. The payment schedule will consist of (4) total payments of: Two Hundred Fifty and 00/100.       Last night we had two exciting games. We had Team Jocko against King of Crossover. Team Jocko talked a good one but didn't live up to the hype. In the first half things did look promising for TJ going into halftime with a one point lead. West had 11 points at the half and Vegas had 10. In the second half TJ couldn't keep up with the tempo of the game. KOC turned it up, led by Tola who had 15 second half points and finished with 23 points for the game. Along with Tola, David added 11 second half points to finish with 15 points. In the end KOC gets the win with a score of 84-73. It's still early in the season and will see what changes TJ can make to not have a repeat of last night.

      Our second game of the night featured PNW vs. The In-Crowd. This was an exciting game from beginning to end. Both teams came out with a lot energy and didn't dissapoint the fans. In their debut PNW's starting five came out playing good defense and playing at a high tempo in the first quarter. Then came in the bench players and they didn't play so well together which allowed In Crowd to get back into the ballgame and even take the lead at one point. H has come back to season to try and prove his critics wrong. H was gunning from start to finish. The question is, did he take to many shots? I think he did. H finished the game with 25 points and his teammate Boon at a solid 20. Darryl from PNW had a stellar performance finishing with 29 points. PNW wins with a score of 84-75. We will see how PNW matches up a against a better team to better evaluate how good they really are.

     June 15th is just a few days away, which means it's time for one of the best basketball tournaments in N.Y.C to begin. Come out and watch some of the best ball players showcase their talents in Gersh Park. The first game will be at 7:00PM and the second game will start at 8:30PM. Don't miss opening day which will include live music from DJ Battio. Come out, support and have a great time.

        June is fast approaching almost time for the hottest tournament in brooklyn and soon to be the city . Eny Memorial Classic at Gersh park this year is going to be bigger and better than you can imagine. So if you thinking about entering a team don't think any longer let's make it happen cause the deadline is soon.The tournament will begin June 15th, 2012. We have some great teams entering this year. The competition will be stiff!!!
