Official League Policies

The league rules outline the increased/expanded league organization and structure. Below are the updated rules and policies of the league. Please check back often and refer to the pdf version of the rules and guidelines as the pdf contains the most recent edition.

1.      Registration

    A.      Team roster is set once Player Personnel Sheet is turned in at the time of registration.

    B.      Any player additions after registration must pay prorated individual registration fee.  (see policies regarding Free Agency)

    C.      Registration can be done on the league website (preferred method – no charge) or by filling out and submitting the required registration forms. An administration fee will be assessed on all team registrations submitted by hard copy.

 

2.      Game Cancellations/Forfeitures

    A.      Teams may formally cancel a game by calling a League Director or sending a Request to Cancel Notification through the league website (preferred method).

        1).   Formal cancellations submitted through the league website will send email notification to all personnel on both teams.

    B.      Cancellations must be done prior to 48 hours before scheduled game. The cancelled game will be rescheduled for Sweeps Week (see Season Format).

    C.      If the game is not formally cancelled prior to 48 hours before, then there will be no rescheduling of the game.

    D.      If two or more games are cancelled for a given day then all games are cancelled for that day.

    E.       If a team cancels for a third time during a season, that team will automatically be disqualified for the remainder of the season. No refunds will be issued.

    F.       Teams on the opposite end of a cancellation (or season long disqualification) will always have their games “made-up” either on the original day or during Sweeps Week (see Season Format).

 

3.       Right to Refuse Service.  In order to ensure and maintain the integrity of all aspects of the league, the league reserves the right to refuse and/or limit service to anyone that may be seen as a hindrance to the progress and growth of this league.

 

4.       Lost Items. The league cannot be held responsible for lost, misplaced or stolen items while on the premises at any league event.

 

5.       Release Form.  All players must sign release form prior to playing first game.

 

6.       Player Dress Code.  The following is a list of items that players are not allowed to wear at any time during games:

 

·         Beanies

·         Stocking caps

·         Jewelry of any kind

·         Oversized apparel

 

7.      Team Uniforms

    A.      All players on a team must have same color numbered jerseys and matching shorts to play.

    B.      If a team or a player does not have the required uniform, uniforms can be rented or purchased individually or as a set from a League Director.

    C.      Uniforms can be purchased or rented. Rented uniforms must be returned to a League Director immediately following the game.

    D.      It is the responsibility of the team’s Front Office Personnel to ensure his/her team has matching team uniforms.
